Buying a snack vending machine: which size do you need?
Snack machines are sold by width: a 3-wide cabinet has three columns of spirals and around 16–24 selections, a 4-wide around 32, a 5-wide around 40 and a 6-wide up to 60 or more. Can I vend candy bars, chips and pastries in the same machine?
Yes. Spiral shelves are adjustable, so each shelf can be set for a different package depth; most operators mix chips on the top shelves, candy and pastries lower down.
Do snack machines need to be refrigerated?
No. Ambient machines are the default. Choose a refrigerated model only if you plan to sell perishable items such as sandwiches or dairy.
How much stock does a snack machine hold?
The capacity band in the compare table gives the item count: under 300 items for compact machines, 300–500 for 4- and 5-wide cabinets, and 500–800 or more for 6-wide machines.
Are these coin-operated vending machines?
